Solar Bears sign Zack Andrusiak (orlandosolarbearshockey.com)
Andrusiak was entering his second season with the ECHL Idaho Steelheads. The Steelheads re-signed Andrusiak September 10th 2020. The Steelheads announced December 7th 2020 the team has suspended the 2020-21 season under the league's policy for COVID-19. The Steelheads will prepare to return in October for the 2021-22 season.
Andrusiak played his first season with the Steelheads last year. In 49 games last season, Andrusiak collected (10-goals-13-assists-23-points).
Andrusiak played five seasons in the Western Hockey League with Tri-Cities, Seattle, Prince Albert & Everett before signing his first professional contract with the ECHL Idaho Steelheads August 8th 2019.
Andrusiak played with the 2015-16 Vernon Vipers. The Vipers signed Andrusiak October 1st 2015 after being released from the Western Hockey League Tri-City Americans. Andrusiak had two assists in 15 games with the Vipers before being released November 5th 2015.
