Blog Hits 1.9 Million Viewers:

Shortly after 12pm this afternoon this blog hit 1,900,000 (1.9 million) viewers.

I would like to take this time to thank everyone who has taken the time to visit my blog over the years and there continued support. Without you the fans/viewers, this blog would not exist.

I first started and created this blog in November 2008 and since then have had over 1.9 million viewers. To follow the view count, check out the view counter on the left hand side of this blog.

Blogger tells me how many viewers I get per day, per week, per month and per year. For the month of August I had 12,359 viewers visit my blog. I average between 350-1100 viewers a day, depending on the time of year and hockey season. This blog hit 1.8 million viewers back in February 2020. Blogger also tells me, where the viewers are from, what part of the country, what device they are using while on my blog and how the viewers contacted my blog. I get thousands of viewers from all across the world visiting my blog.

Thank you again, and thank you for the support.

Thanks, Vipersdiehardfan

Bulawka For Captain?

With the start of the 2020 BC Hockey League exhibition season next
weekend, who will wear the "C" for the Vernon Vipers this year?

Looking at the Vernon Vipers 2020-21 roster, my guess/pick would be four year BCHL veteran/forward Max Bulawka. I don't know Max personally or know what kind of a kid Max is on and or off the ice either. I'm not going by the best player/or stats on the team, I'm going by his three previous seasons playing in the BCHL and somewhat of a local (Kelowna, BC). Could it be someone else? Sure it could. I'm not around the team and or know the players but for as long as I can remember, I always try and figure out who the captain will be or try and take a guess before the start of every season. Now however the Vipers go about picking the captain, they are involved with the players and see these kids on a daily basis. The Vipers have some other players who have played a few seasons either in the BCHL or other Junior leagues, but I would say Max gets my vote because he's from the Okanagan, & is entering his fourth season in the league.

Bulawka is entering his second season with the Snakes after coming over in a trade with the West Kelowna Warriors at last season's trade deadline. On January 10th 2020 the Vipers sent Elan Bar-Lev-Wise & future considerations to the Warriors for Bulawka. In 37 games last year with the Warriors Bulawka collected (15-goals-9-assists-24-points) In 18 games with the Vipers Bulawka collected (5-goals-5-assists-10-points). Bulawka's best season come during the 2018-19 season when recording (12-goals-32-assists-44-points) with the West Kelowna Warriors. In 162 regular season BCHL games with the Warriors & Vipers, Bulawka has (37-goals-50-assists-87-points).

Max & the Vernon Vipers open the 2020 exhibition season Friday, September 25th in West Kelowna in the first exhibition game of a home & home series next weekend with the Warriors.

I would love to hear your opinion and or your pick for this years Vipers captain. You can leave a comment below in the comment box. Thanks to everyone who has been leaving comments this year. Very much appreciated!
