Fort Wayne Komets Add Former Vernon Viper Coughlin To Training Camp Roster:

Former Vernon Vipers defenceman Johnny Coughlin has been added to

 the ECHL Fort Wayne Komets training camp roster.

Coughlin is in his first season with the Komets after signing a contract January 27th 2021.

Coughlin was suppose to start the season with the ECHL Cincinnati Cyclones. The Cyclones re-signed Coughlin August 12th 2020. The Cyclones announced they have opt out of the 2020-21 season as part of the ECHL's COVID -19 Voluntary Suspension policy. The Cyclones plan to return to play for the 2021-22 season. Coughlin had two goals in nine games with Cincinnati last season.

Coughlin started the 2019-20 season with the ECHL Maine Mariners. Coughlin was traded to the ECHL Norfolk Admirals October 16th 2019. Coughlin played in nine games with the Admirals before being traded to Cincinnati February 20th 2020.

Coughlin played four years at the College of Holy Cross before signing his first professional contract with the ECHL Maine Mariners March 15th 2019.

Coughlin played one season in Vernon (2014-15) In 55 games with the Vipers, Coughlin collected (3-goals-15-assists-18-points).
