MacInnes & Appelt No Longer Listed On Vernon Vipers Roster:

19 year old goaltender Koen MacInnes & 21 year old forward Ryley Appelt

look to be no longer with the Vernon Vipers. No official press release from the Vernon Vipers but MacInnes & Appelt are no longer listed on the Vernon Vipers roster. MacInnes is now listed on the Saskatoon Blades roster.

The Vipers signed MacInnes October 27th 2020. MacInnes spent last year with the Western Hockey League Saskatoon Blades. In 4 exhibition games with the Vipers this year, MacInnes went 1-1 with 1 shutout and a 1.95 GAA

The Vipers signed Appelt August 1st 2020. Appelt spent the past three seasons with the Western Hockey League Kamloops Blazers. Due to injury Appelt never played any exhibition games with the Vipers this year.

This is of no surprize. Young players want to play hockey. With a March start suggested these players can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hockey in Vernon will be next fall and the results will be the same announcement as the Kootenay Leaque. NO HOCKEY. Give the leaque credit for there never say die attitude but reality I think has come to bit us in the ass. See you next fall hockey Viper fans.
