It's finally great to see some former Vernon Lakers on the show. David Oliver had a great career with the Lakers. I remember the Centennial Cup like it was yesterday. 1990 was my first year as a season ticket holder even though I had been going to games for many years prior. Mel Lis was an amazing owner and put together some of Vernon's greatest teams over his years as owner. It's hard enough making it to one National Championship but to go to four straight Centennial Cups from 1989-1992 is incredible. It's great to see David still involved in the game and the NHL. Thanks to the Vernon Vipers & Graham Turnbull for doing these great shows and thanks to David Oliver for reliving his days with the Lakers.
