The BC Hockey League trade deadline is February 25th 2021.
Teams have until 12pm Pacific time on February 25th to make trades with other Canadian Junior Hockey League teams and have until 3pm Pacific time to make trades with BCHL teams.
The Alberta Junior Hockey League has received approval from the Government of Alberta to restart the 2020-21 Season under the protocols of a comprehensive Return to Play Plan.
Players, coaches and support staff are currently self-isolating in preparation for Training Camp, which is scheduled to begin at the start of March. Competition will also begin in March and include game play exclusively on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through to the end of May.
With the BCHL season in jeopardy and the BCHL trade deadline on Thursday, will we see BCHL teams trade older players or players who won't be back next year to Alberta teams for future considerations or younger players who can join BCHL teams and play next year?
