The 0-2-0-0 Merritt Centennials are coming off a 5-3 loss Saturday to the visiting Wenatchee Wild. Tonight's the first of six regular season meetings vs Vernon this season. The Cents won six of eight games last year over the Vipers (exhibition & regular season) going 6-1-1-0. The Centennials lost four of five exhibition games, have nine players back from last year's club. Tonight is the final game of a three game home stand, before the Centennials hit the road for a two game road trip, starting tomorrow night in West Kelowna. Merritt comes into tonight winless, will play seven of their first nine games on home ice. Merritt sits last in the Division with Salmon Arm as the only two teams in the Interior without a victory.
