Strachan will take part in training camp with Arizona, NHL Roster Resource reports.
Strachan spent the entire 2016-17 campaign with AHL Rochester, where he logged 61 contests, tallying one goal and 11 helpers. The blueliner has played in 186 NHL games for five different clubs over eight seasons. With Jakob Chychrun (knee) still working his way back from injury, Strachan could earn a one-year deal to bolster the Yotes' blue line.
