Nelson scores at 5:57 of the fourth overtime, giving the Vernon Vipers a 3-2 overtime win over the Penticton Vees in front of 1933 fans at the Penticton Memorial Arena in Game 4 of the 1st round of the playoffs. Jon Olthuis made 62 saves in the win, while Corey Milan made 60 saves in the loss. With the win, Vernon would win the best of seven series 4-0.
