Burns is in his second season with the Pistons. In 26 games, Burns has (5-goals-14-assists-19-points).

Burns played parts of the 2023-24 & 2024-25 seasons with the Steinbach Pistons before signing with the Brooks Bandits December 27th 2024. The Bandits traded Burns to the Vernon Vipers February 10th 2025 for forward Luke Bibby. Burns never reported to the Vipers.
