Mallette would be a great coach for our team as comes with a ton of experience compared to what we have now and had worked with mark ferner with the knowledge of how to achieve success. I think with the right dollar fiqure Mallette could be persuaded to join the vipers. I feel the glens would have the respect to be given to this hopeful coach as to not interfere as I feel they would have the confidence in him as to not having to shadow Mallette. Time will tell. GO,VIPERS,GO.

Have the Vipers said they are looking for a new Coach?

Why would Mallette leave the Erie Otters, a team where he just recently was named Head Coach in February to now leave the Otters and go coach the Vipers in a lower independent Jr A league? It doesn't make sense. Coaches want to move up to the next level, not go back down to a lower level/league. If Mallette was looking for a job and couldn't find one, then yes maybe he decides to come coach in the BCHL or another lower level but otherwise what Head Coach of a Major Junior team would leave his current team to come coach in a lower Jr A league? And come to a league with uncertain of what the future holds.

Kris Mallette never worked with Mark Ferner. Mallette was with the Vipers when Jason Williamson was Head Coach/GM.
