Young scores at 0:26 of overtime giving the Vernon Vipers a 4-3 overtime victory over the Wenatchee Wild in front of 2,701 fans at the Town Toyota Center. Aidan Porter made 22 saves in the win, while Cal Sandquist & Austin Park combined 25 saves in the loss in Game 1 of the Interior Division Finals. Vernon went on to win the best of seven series 4-1.
