How will the Vipers do tonight?

Make your predictions, Who will win and what will be the final score?

vipers get their third win in a row5-2

If the Vipers want any kind of chance to make the playoffs, tonight is a must win! Vernon will have to win almost close to all of their remaining games and hope the teams above lose more games then they win. The Vipers are eight points back of the Okotoks Oilers for the final playoff spot. When you win only six games since the end of November, your season ended months ago in my opinion

I hope they are able to win more games this season for the players sake so they can walk away with a little bit of pride and dignity so that they know they gave it there best effort --- playoffs or not. GO VIPERS GO. 3-2 VIPERS

If they somehow tie Okotoks the Vipers would get in as they are tied in wins against each other but, the Vipers have a 1 goal advantage for GF vs GA, 14-13

When will you all just be honest with yourselves and admit that the season is over. We have an owner who doesn't live here [Regina] a GM who doesn't live here [Edmonton] and a coach who doesn't live here [Kelowna]. Talk about being Involved in your team community. Will we even win another game this year?

Not sure where you get your information from, but it’s really off. No one is from Regina or Edmonton (????)

We were always told (the owners) Tom lives in Regina and John lives in Edmonton.

Nope

I found it. Here it is. Tom Glen is from Regina, John Glen, a scout for the Western Hockey League’s Vancouver Giants, is from Edmonton.

Where do they currently live?

It shouldn’t matter where the owners call home, I can’t understand why some get caught up in that. You do realize that Dr. Wray didn’t live in Vernon for a number of years that he owned the club, yes? Don’t recall any outrage. Bottom line - you own a team, you can live wherever you want, it’s 2025, there are a ton of ways to communicate. And if anyone in Vernon really has a problem with it…where was your offer to buy the team when it was for sale?

JB said...

Thank you Tim. I 100% agree with you. How easily we forget Duncan was not living in Vernon full time once he retired from his Oral Surgeon practice.

People are unhappy with the whole organization and will nit pick at whatever they can think of. If the season is over, move on. If you don’t want to buy season tickets for next year or ever again, no need to repeat yourself just move on.

Find something else to do to or attend that you’re happy with and move on.

You know I would say to the fans that going to vipers games is a great social time, the food is good and reasonably priced and the coffee ain't bad either. This is cheap entertainment and yes winning more often would be nice but at the end of the day its something people can afford and have fun at. I say just enjoy your time at the hockey games as something to do during the winter and let it be. GO,VIPERS,GO.

Amen, thanks JB. Love our team, win or lose!!

He is correct ! Tom lives in Regina , John lives outside Edmonton and the coach lives in Kelowna
