Honestly, who cares after how well all the past "commitment" went in Vernon

I like the sounds of this kid. He's big and put up some good numbers, but the big question is how long will he be here?

Since the 2019-20 season twelve recruits/committed players have either been cut during training camp or during the preseason or traded during the regular season. (Brett Fudger, Ryan MacLean, Desmond Johnson, Colby Feist, Nicholas Remissong, Ethan Mercer, Daniel North, Logan Lorenz, Adam Bourgeois, Jason Siedem, Greye Rampton and Daniel Rozsival). My question is why so many in just a few years?

Before the 2019-20 season it was very rare a new recruit/committed player was cut during training camp or even early into a new season. Yes it happens but not very often. Sure some even were traded after one season but again, it didn't happen often.

You have to question who's scouting these kids and why are they being recruited/committed if they won't stay long? Word gets around in the hockey world and this might scare some kids/parents away.

Weston is the fourth new recruit/committed Viper for the 2022-23 season.

Recruiting will be an issue as long as John Glenn is around this team. Not sure how long his family has banished him from the auto business but he sure has destroyed his own personal sandbox to play in...
