receiving a major penalty and a game misconduct for a Blow to the Head during Friday's game vs Salmon Arm. McNelly was recently signed January 10th 2022 made his Vipers debut Friday in a 4-3 overtime win over the visiting Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

In the video, the Salmon Arm player leaves the faceoff circle in the Salmon Arm end and goes across his own blue line, the red line, and almost to the Vernon blue line without looking in front of himself before McNelly hits him. Head down, looking behind himself, over to the side, but not where he's going. Scary.
