Kirbyson has been battling addiction and living on the streets in Kelowna, BC.
Kirbyson played parts of two seasons in Vernon from 2005-2007. The Vipers traded Kirbyson to the Powell River Kings December 1st 2006 for future considerations. In 48 games with the Vipers, Kirbyson collected (0-goals-3-assists-3-points).
