The Nanaimo Clippers have traded former Vernon Vipers forward Tyler Maser to the SIJHL Dryden Ice Dogs.
Maser played his first full season in the BCHL last year with Nanaimo. In 48 games with the Clippers collected (1-goal-5-assists-6-points).
Maser attended the Vipers training camp in August 2016 before leaving for a tryout with a Western Hockey League team. Maser returned to the Vipers for opening night in Salmon Arm. Maser played ten games with the Vipers collecting (1-goal-1-assist-2-points) before being released October 15th 2016 before joining the BC Hockey Major Midget Cariboo Cougars. Maser committed to the Clippers in June 2017.
