After a scoreless 3rd period, Captain Nicholas Jones scored at 8:40 of overtime giving the hometown Penticton Vees a 3-2 overtime victory and a 3-2 series lead. Penticton outshot Vernon 36-28 Matthew Robson made 26 saves in the win, while Darion Hanson made 33 saves in the loss in front of 3,563 fans at the South Okanagan Events Centre. The Vipers would force a Game 7 after a 5-1 victory in Game 6 before Penticton would win game 7 and the series 4-3 advancing to the BCHL League Finals vs the Chilliwack Chiefs.
