2 Exceptional guys on and off the ice. Had personal interactions with them involving the team and couldn't say enough good things about them both. They will be hard to replace

What can you say about these two young men. Landon Fuller was a big addition to the Vipers lineup last season and brought that physical yet veteran presence on the blueline. Fuller improved in his two years in Vernon and cut back on his penalties, especially his undisciplined penalties he was taking a year ago. Landon really moulded into a more solid/steady defenceman this year, staying out of the penalty box and spending more time on the ice. Talking with Viper fans or people in the know, I have heard nothing but great things about Landon and how well liked he is on and off the ice, not only with his team but the kids/fans. It was great to see a local kid like Connor Marritt finish his Junior career as captain of the team he grew up watching. I personally thought Connor struggled at times in the first half of the season. Some night's I didn't even notice the third year Viper forward. Marritt seemed to gain some confidence and was an impact player for Vernon in the second half of the season. Connor really lead the team down the stretch and into the playoffs. Congrats to both young men, wishing both the best in there future. Who will be next years Viper captain?
