Fifteen years ago today (April 4th 2005) In Game 3 of the Interior division Finals best of seven series vs the Prince George Spruce Kings. Dean Strong's goal at 9:27 of the 1st period, held up as the game winner, while Jon Olthuis stopped 27 of 27 Prince George shots for the win/shutout as the Vipers took Game 3 1-0 in front of 2,292 fans at the Prince George Coliseum. Vernon outshot Prince George 32-27 taking a 3-0 series lead. Vernon would eventually win the series 4-1 and advance to the BCHL League Finals vs the Surrey Eagles.Boxscore-Game Summary,
