I watched today's game online. I always enjoy watching games on Hockey TV In Trail. The video/quality is excellent and great with the different camera angles and replays.

A hard fought/tough loss today for the Vipers. You have to wonder why Trail's second goal in the dying seconds wasn't waived off? It looked like goaltender interference and the net come off its mournings. A tough break for the Vipers with just a second left in the opening frame. The Smoke Eaters pick up their first win over Vernon this year. These two teams will meet for the final time this season, on the last day of the regular season in Vernon.

The Snakes blew a big opportunity to regain 1st place today after the Vees lost 6-3 in Victoria this afternoon. Both teams are still tied atop the Interior Division, with Penticton claiming top spot due to fewer games played and fewer losses. After the Vipers game Wednesday, Penticton will have four games in hand and with a more favorable schedule, may win their seventh straight Interior Division Pennant.

I don't get why the Vipers played this afternoon, after the Smoke Eaters had last night off. Vernon doesn't play next weekend, why did they have to play three games in three days this weekend? This isn't an Island or Mainland road trip, Just doesn't make sense to me.

The Snakes have struggled since returning from the Christmas break are now 6-6 since the holiday break. Vernon has also struggled scoring in the New year. Once again the Vipers with just one goal this afternoon. The Vipers have scored just one goal in three of their last five games.

Anthony Yamnitsky has lost four straight. Yamnitsky has been in goal in nine of Vernon's fifteen losses this season.

PP went 0/7 today..has not looked good for quite awhile. A big reason for low goal production. So much talent but just cant seem to put it all together.
