Taylor Ties League Shutout Record:

Vernon Vipers goaltender Ty Taylor has tied the BCHL league record with his seventh shutout of the season. Taylor recorded his seventh shutout of the season Tuesday in West Kelowna making 26 saves in a 5-0 victory over the Warriors.

Taylor is now tied with former Powell River Kings/Penticton Vees goaltender Michael Garteig and former Prince George Spruce Kings/Merritt Centennials goaltender Brad Thiessen.

Thiessen posted seven shutouts with Prince George & Merritt during the 2005-06 season, while Garteig posted seven shutouts with Powell River during the 2010-11 season.
