Prokop Leaves Vernon Vipers-Returns To Calgary Hitmen:

20 year old forward Josh Prokop has left the Vernon Vipers and returned to the

Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen.

The Western Hockey League announced January 28th 2021 it was granted approval by the Government of Alberta to return to play. Alberta-based teams opened the season February 26th 2021.

Prokop returned to the Vipers this year for a second time. The Vipers signed Prokop October 29th 2020 after playing the past two seasons with the Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen. In 6 exhibition games this year, Prokop collected (1-goal-3-assists-4-points). 

Prokop was recruited by the Vipers and committed to the Vipers in 2017. Prokop played parts of two seasons in Vernon (2017-2019) left the Vipers September 26th 2018 for the Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen. In 60 games with the Vipers, Prokop collected (23-goals-22-assists-45-points).
