Fighting Saints Trade Vipers Alumni Herbst To Omaha:

The United States Hockey League Dubuque Fighting Saints have traded

former Vernon Vipers goaltender Reilly Herbst to the USHL Omaha Lancers.

Lancers Add Herbst in Deal With Fighting Saints

Herbst was in his first season with the Fighting Saints after signing with the
team in early January.

The Lancers are Herbst's third team this year. Herbst started the season with the North American Hockey League Lone Star Brahmas. The Brahmas signed Herbst in early January. Herbst never played a game was released January 6th 2021. 

Herbst was drafted 62nd overall in Round 3 of the North American Hockey League Entry Draft by the Jamestown Rebels. 

Herbst started last year with the United States Hockey League Chicago Steel before being acquired by the Vernon Vipers October 10th 2019. No official detail on the deal. In 34 games last year with the Vipers, Herbst went 20-10 with 1 shutout and a 2.91 GAA

I read on the Omaha Lancers website that Herbst signed his national letter of intent to play for Ohio State University starting in the Fall
