Ex Viper Goaltender Hanson Leaves Union College-Joins Huskies:

Former Vernon Vipers goaltender has left Union College and will play hockey

next year at the University of Connecticut.

Hanson has spent the past three seasons at Union College. Due to COVID-19 Union chose not to play hockey this season.

Hanson was nominated for the Hobey Baker award last year & invited to the Philadelphia Flyers development camp in 2017, the Toronto Maple Leafs development camp in 2018 & the Buffalo Sabres development camp in 2019.

Hanson played parts of one season in Vernon (2016-17) The Youngstown Phantoms traded Hanson to Vernon November 18th 2016 (No details of the trade were ever announced).
