Former Vernon Viper Tufto Named Semifinalist For Walter Brown Award:

Former Vernon Vipers forward Odeen Tufto has been named semifinalist for the

Walter Brown Award.

Tufto is in his fourth season at Quinnipiac University and first season as captain of the Bobcats. In 27 games this year, Tufto has (6-goals-38-assists-44-points).

Tufto played one season in Vernon (2015-16) In 57 games with the Vipers, Tufto collected (25-goals-40-assists-65-points). Tufto left the Vipers after one season for the United States Hockey League. Tufto played one season in the USHL with three different teams (Fargo, Tri-City & Sioux City) before committing to Quinnipiac University for the 2017-18 season.

Good for him, loved watching Tufto while he was in Vernon. It will be interesting to see where he plays next. Will an NHL team offer him a contract? Odeen has put up points wherever he has played so should be a smart pick up by some team.
