Rampton split the 2022-23 season with the Cowichan Capitals & Alberta Junior Hockey League Olds Grizzlys.
Rampton attended the Chilliwack Chiefs Spring Prospect Camp in 2020 committed to the Vernon Vipers July 30th 2021 for the 2021-22 season. Rampton attended the Vernon Vipers 2021 training camp and played in 5 exhibition games with the Vipers before being released/cut October 4th 2021. Rampton committed to the Cowichan Capitals May 18th 2022

Ex-Viper????, he never signed with the team so, HE IS NOT AN EX VIPER!!!!
His Elite Prospects profile does not list him as playing for the Vipers so, an ex Viper he is not!

I recall seeing him at training camp and playing in some scrimmages, and maybe he even got into an exhibition game. I don't mind having a story like this about a player who tried out in Vernon but didn't make it or left on his own. It's news, it's the truth, and it's connected to the team. Keep them coming.
