Buss played one season in Vernon with the 2021-22 Vernon Vipers. In 48 games, Buss collected (16-goals-20-assists-36-points).

Great having Luke Buss return to the Vipers! Buss lead the Vipers in scoring his first and only season with the Snakes, was one of the more skilled/offensive minded players that Vernon had that season. A great addition adding a veteran skilled 20 yr who once played here, who knows the owners, coaching staff and town will add a lot to the Vipers roster this coming season. Welcome back Luke!
