Over all, not going to miss these two!!!
Is this a hockey trade or is this two players asking for a trade?
I talked to a long time season ticket holder last season who talked to one of the Vipers parents during one game last season and the father said if Jason McKee is back, most of the Vipers who are able to return won't be back. Lots of rumblings from fans, billets and Viper parents last season that the kids don't like McKee.
Borovinskiy was a bit of let down. In two seasons with the Vipers, Borovinskiy didn't do much most of the season. He had the odd decent game last season but very inconsistent and not noticeable on most nights.
Tien on the other hand was a spark plug and full of energy. Not the biggest kid but played big, was one of if not the Vipers most hardest worker. 20 pts in 32 games last season played with jump/energy, was all over the ice and made plays happen. Very disappointed to see him go.
Within a week the Vipers have now lost Ethan Merner, Dylan Compton, Max Borovinskiy and Thomas Tien. Who's next?
If these rumors are true about players not liking or wanting to play for McKee, will we see anymore players from last season leave Vernon?
