Now that their Independent, making all kinds of changes, while they are at it, they should change the leagues name to be more inclusive to WENATCHEE wild, just saying!!!
It's hard to say if this move will be good or bad for the BCHL until the season starts and we what actually see what happens. As of right now, everything is up in the air and I think a lot of fans/parents still aren't sure if this is a good or bad move for Junior A hockey. I think this will take at least one full season if not a couple of seasons before we actually get a good read on this new outlaw league. I wonder why they pushed back the trade deadline to February? That's kind of late in the season isn't it? West Kelowna and Cowichan have already committed to European players for the 2023-24 season.
