Smoke Eaters Name Former Vernon Viper Calvin New Assistant Coach:

The Trail Smoke Eaters have named former Vernon Vipers forward Dallas

Calvin new Assistant Coach.

Calvin last played hockey at Vancouver Island University in 2019. After finishing his Junior hockey career in 2015 with the Trail Smoke Eaters, Calvin spent the next three seasons at Selkirk College before playing at Vancouver Island University in the 2018-19 season.

Calvin was an affiliated player with the 2012-13 Vernon Vipers, committed to the Vipers for the 2013-14 season. Calvin played in only 11 games with the Vipers during the 2013-14 season before leaving the team for personal reasons. Calvin joined the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League Beaver Valley Nitehawks later that season. Calvin re-joined the Vipers after Christmas in 2013 and played with the Vipers as an affiliated player for the remainder of the 2013-14 season. In 12 games with the Vipers, Calvin collected (3-goals-6-assists-9-points). Calvin committed to the Trail Smoke Eaters for the 2014-15 season.
