MacInnes played with the Saskatoon Blades from 2018-2020 before signing with the Vernon Vipers October 27th 2020. MacInnes played last season with the Vipers during the Okanagan Cup. In 4 exhibition games, MacInnes went 1-1 with 1 shutout and a 1.95 GAA before returning to the Saskatoon Blades in February 2021. MacInnes played in 7 games with the Blades during the 2021 WHL Hub season, going 4-2-1 with a 2.57 GAA
