Prokop played the past three seasons with the Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen. Prokop was captain of the Hitmen in his final year of junior hockey.
Prokop was recruited by the Vernon Vipers & committed to the Vipers in 2017. Prokop played parts of two seasons in Vernon between 2017-2018 before leaving the Vipers September 26th 2018 for the Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen. With the Western Hockey League 2020-21 season on hold due to COVID-19 the Vipers signed Prokop October 29th 2020. Prokop played in six exhibition games with the Vipers at the 2020 Okanagan Cup before returning to Calgary in March 2021 once the 2021 Western Hockey League Hub season started. In 60 games with the Vipers, Prokop collected (23-goals-22-assists-45-points).
