Clips forward Rempal goes on goal spree, earns POW

Nanaimo Clippers forward Sheldon Rempal has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 22, the league announced Monday.

?Rempal led his team to three wins in as many games and racked up seven goals, including a hat trick, and an assist along the way. The native of Calgary was named 1st Star in all three contests, starting with his two-goal effort in a 5-1 win over Victoria. He upped the ante to two goals and helper in a 7-2 win over Trail and concluded with a hat trick - including the double-overtime winner - in a 4-3 win over the Cowichan Valley Capitals.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound recruit of Clarkson University leads the BCHL in goals with 26 and is second in points with 53.
