The Alberta Junior Hockey League has named former Vernon Vipers forward Mackenzie Bauer Player of the Week.
Bauer played last season with the Vipers, was traded July 21st 2015 to the Cowichan Capitals for future considerations. In 27 games with the Vipers Bauer collected (5-goals-4-assists-9-points). Bauer never played a game with Cowichan was traded to Lloydminster on September 9th 2015. In 7 games with the Bobcats Bauer recorded (1-goal-1-assist-2-points). The Bobcats traded Bauer to the Camrose Kodiaks on October 15th 2015.

Forward Mackenzie Bauer of the Camrose Kodiaks is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the week ending November 8th, 2015. Bauer scored 6 points (2G, 4A) in two games played and extended his current point streak to 7 games and 16 points.
Mackenzie is a 19 year-old AJHL rookie from Three Hills, AB. He is currently third in team scoring with 19 points and an average of 1.2 points per game. Bauer and the Kodiaks have won three consecutive games and sit on top of the Viterra AJHL South Division standings at 14-3-3.
