Guessing he will. Same situation as last year when he was traded to PR kings and then to Langley.
If Wingfield reports to the Vipers and plays this year it will be his 5th team in the BCHL in 3 years. In the past 2 seasons he played 73 games and contributed a whopping 18 points. I hope he brings a lot more than he has displayed so far in his BCHL career.
I'm hoping Wingfield's size helps us out as he appears not to be big on points. Will he even show up to register with the team?

I like the idea of bringing in a veteran 20 year old with some size but hasn't shown any signs of scoring or offence in his previous years in the BCHL. Powell River recently traded Wingfield to Okotoks July 29th, so why did the Oilers quickly turn around and trade him? Did he not want to report to the Oilers? One concern for myself is the Vipers will be Wingfield's eighth team since 2021. I'm hoping he can regain some of his scoring touch from the 2023-24 season putting up 53 pts with the Kerry Park Islanders.
