Solar Bears Place Former Vernon Viper Andrusiak On Reserve:

The ECHL Orlando Solar Bears have placed former Vernon Vipers forward Zach

Andrusiak on reserve.

ECHL Transactions - March 19

Andrusiak is in his first season with the ECHL Orlando Solar Bears. The Solar Bears signed Andrusiak January 22nd 2021. In 22 games this season, Andrusiak has (1-goal-3-assists-4-points).

Andrusiak was suppose to return to the ECHL Idaho Steelheads this year for a second season. Andrusiak played last year with the Steelheads, re-signed September 10th 2020. In 51 games last season, Andrusiak collected (10-goals-13-assists-23-points). The Steelheads announced December 7th 2020 the team has suspended the 2020-21 season under the league's policy for COVID-19. The Steelheads will prepare to return in October for the 2021-22 season.  

Andrusiak played five seasons in the Western Hockey League with Tri-Cities, Seattle, Prince Albert & Everett before signing his first professional contract with the ECHL Idaho Steelheads August 8th 2019.

Andrusiak played with the 2015-16 Vernon Vipers. Andrusiak started the 2015-16 season with the Western Hockey League Tri-City Americans was released before signing with the Vipers October 1st 2015. Andrusiak had two assists in 15 games with the Vipers before being released November 5th 2015.
