defenceman Sam Duerr 159th overall in Round 10 in Phase 2 of the USHL Draft.

Duerr played his first season in Vernon last season. In 16 games with the Vipers last season, Duerr collected (1-goal-3-assists-4-points). Duerr will be returning to Vernon for the 2021-22 season. Duerr has committed to the University of Maine for the 2022-23 season.
