as Head Coach of the Western Hockey League Lethbridge Hurricanes. Kisio and the Hurricanes defeated Red Deer 8-5 April 12th 2021 for his 200th career win. Kisio is third all-time on the Hurricanes franchise coaching wins list.

Kisio is in his sixth season as Head Coach of the Lethbridge Hurricanes. In his first season with the Hurricanes (2015-16) Kisio lead the Hurricanes to a 46-24-1-1 record, helping the team back to the post-season after a six year absence. Kisio lead the Hurricanes to their first Central Division Championship since 1996-97 while being named the Eastern Conference's nominee for Coach of the year.
Kisio has also coached the 2016 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge and the 2017 Canada National Men's Summer Under-18 team that won the 2017 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup in 2017. Kisio was also an Assistant Coach with Team Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championships & an Assistant Coach with Team WHL, that competed against Russia at the 2018 CIBC Canada Russia Series.
Kisio was an Assistant Coach, Associate Coach & Assistant GM for eight seasons with the Western Hockey League Calgary Hitmen before being named the Head Coach of the Lethbridge Hurricanes June 4th 2015.
Kisio played one season in Vernon with the 2002-03 Vernon Vipers. The Vipers acquired Kisio in August 2002 in a trade with the Alberta Junior Hockey League Ft. McMurray Oil Barons. In 59 games with the Vipers, Kisio collected (20-goals-46-assists-66-points).
