Ex Viper Goaltender Shortridge Finishes Season Off Strong With Heat:

Former Vernon Vipers goaltender finished off the 2021-22 season with strong

numbers with the American Hockey League Stockton Heat. Shortridge made 35 saves with the Heat in a 2-1 overtime loss to Manitoba April 29th 2021 in the final game of the season. Shortridge went 1-0-1 in three games posting a 1.58 GAA with Stockton this season. Shortridge stopped 79 of 83 shots in those three games. The Heat assigned Shortridge May 1st 2021 to the ECHL Kansas City Mavericks after the Heat's season ended.

Shortridge is in his first season with the American Hockey League Stockton Heat & ECHL Kansas City Mavericks. In 13 games this season with Kansas City, Shortridge is 7-4-1 with one shutout and a 2.74 GAA

Shortridge become a free agent this year after the San Jose Sharks didn't offer him a qualifying contract in October 2020. The American Hockey League Stockton Heat signed Shortridge to a two-way AHL/ECHL contract December 5th 2020. The Heat assigned Shortridge to the ECHL Kansas City Mavericks December 5th 2020.

Shortridge played last year in the American Hockey League & ECHL with the AHL San Jose Barracuda & ECHL Allen Americans. In 14 games with the Barracuda, Shortridge went 3-7 with a 3.71 GAA In 10 games with the Americans, Shortridge went 4-4-1 with a 2.81 GAA

Shortridge played three seasons at Quinnipiac University before signing his first professional contract with the San Jose Sharks April 3rd 2019 and an amateur contract with the American Hockey League San Jose Barracuda April 3rd 2019.

Shortridge played one season in Vernon with the 2015-16 Vernon Vipers. In 44 games with the Vipers, Shortridge went 19-25 with two shutouts and a 3.15 GAA
