Here are the Vipers-Silverbacks highlight's from Saturday night inSalmon Arm. Michael Young scored twice in the opening frame as the Vipers held a 2-1 1st period lead into the 3rd period before Jonathan Krahn and Hudson Schandor scored for Salmon Arm less then five minutes into the 3rd giving Salmon Arm their first lead of the night. Former Salmon Arm Silverback Josh Latta tied the game at 18:52 on the powerplay with the goaltender pulled forcing overtime. The Apes outshot the Snakes 6-2 in the extra frame setting up defenceman Olson Werenka for his second goal of the night at 4:29 giving Salmon Arm the 4-3 overtime victory in front of 1,169 fans at the Shaw Centre.
