Vipers New Owner John Glen – Hockeytube.net had a chance to catch up with the new owner of the BCHL Vernon Vipers. John Glen along with his brother Tom Glen purchased the Junior A hockey team at the beginning of the season from the late Duncan Wray’s family.

John talks about why his family wanted to purchase a team and in particular the six time national champion Vipers…as well his goals for the organization as well as for the players who come play for the team.

This was a good interview. Liked the things he is saying especially the bit about wanting to be part of the community. Hope he doesn't feel too bad about not achieving the result expected. Team ownership was up in the air all summer when most of your recruiting needs to be done. Great players do not commit to uncertain situations. I'm giving them a year.
