I'm watching the game on HockeyTv and about halfway through the second.
First period: what even was that. 14-1 for shots? Are you kidding me? How embarassing. Full strength and we still can't get a shot. Where is the offense? Second period starts of with a 5 on 3 for Penticton. (Seriously why all the penalties? They need to get it together.) Penticton scores barely 10 seconds in without much trouble from Vernon. The defense let them come right in. Vipers get an opportunity on the PP and Landon Fuller gets himself a penalty before they can do anything. Palaga made some absolutely beautiful saves. The only reason we even stand a chance is because of him. The PP near the end of the second once again showed how low the offensive ability of the vipers currently is. We are currently one of the lowest scoring teams in the league. No more excuses. It's time to get it together. LaFontaine with a huge save as at about the 19:00 minute mark. With 30 seconds left in the second period I hope they can turn things around in the third. Cheers.
Did not see the game so just saw score & game summary. Yes, very embarrassing. The Vipers must stay away from the penalties and use their speed. Another disturbing fact is that Vernon went with 6 veteran D-men, no rookies. Sounds like the Vees were dominant. Let’s hope for a better result tonight.
