With Trail this season are a couple of really good prospects. Sean Donaldson and Kent Johnson. They both played last season for Burnaby Winter Club Midget along with Viper Elan Bar-Lev-Wise. All three of these players put up a lot of points in Midget.

Johnson turns 16 years old this Thursday and he has 11 points in 13 games already this season. That's something for such a young player.

Does anyone who number 8 was playing for the Vipers on Sunday vs the Chiefs?

Good call Bob, Good info. I have been thinking about the coaching staff and the dilemna they were up against. Let us face it they did they best the could under the situation they were in. Sure there were alot of great prospects the Vernon Vipers could have had and yes the results of our record of play could maybe been different. But the delay of the previous owners and I understand why but at the same time alot of quality players who could have been playing for Vernon, DIDN'T. Reason" The parents of these players didn't know who the coaching staff would be/ Are they staying or being replaced? Because with any business having to deal with the question . WHAT WILL THEY DECIDE, WHAT IS NEXT.? This doubt hanging over the Vernon Vipers head I am sure prevented alot of quality players from coming to Vernon. Now on a positive note let us hope that the coaching staff and it's decisions on who they recruited bears fruit, not so much in the short term but hopefully in the long term , GO, VIPER, Go.

#8 on Sunday for the Vipers was "AP" Ben Meng. I noticed him on the Vipers roster earlier during the day before Sunday's game. Graham Turnbull said he was an affiliated player called up for Sunday's game.

A 19 yr old forward from Vancouver, BC listed at 5'11 170 lbs is playing with the PJHL Aldergrove Kodiaks this year.
