Watson’s big week earns the BCHL POW
December 12, 2016
Vernon Vipers defenceman Cooper Watson has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 11, the league announced Monday.
Watson hit the scoresheet in all three games, helping the Vipers to a win and a tie in three outings. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound blueliner opened with an assist in a 3-1 loss in Penticton but followed that with two helpers in a 4-4 draw in Salmon Arm. Watson finished up the week with his best outing, a two-goal, one-assist effort in a 6-2 victory over Trail.
A native of Appleton, Wis., Watson’s output nearly double his numbers on the season as he now has three goals and 10 assists on the campaign. He is the first defenceman to win a BCHLPOW this season.

Good for Cooper. He is really coming on as of late.
I agree, played his best hockey as a Viper in the last three games. Seems to be showing and playing with more confidence.
