Mennear hat trick paves way to BCHLPOW

Prince George Spruce Kings forward Brett Mennear has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending November 27, the league announced Monday.
Mennear helped his team to two wins in as many tries and picked up a hat trick and five assists in the process. The native of West Kelowna, B.C. notched his hat trick plus a helper in an 8-0 victory over
Coquitlam where he was 1st Star. He was 1st Star again the next night after four helpers in a 6-3 PG win over Salmon Arm.
The 5-foot-9, 185-pound captain moved up to fourth in BCHL scoring and has 13 points in his last four games.
