Stephenson Commits To Vernon

The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the commitment of 98 born defenceman Carter Stephenson to the club for next season.
The product of West Vancouver is currently a member of the Vancouver North West Giants of the BC Major Midget League. In 24 games this season Stepehenson has registered 4 goals and 29 assists.
Last season the 5’11 170 pound rearguard recorded 28 points in 40 games with the same NW Giants. Stephenson has appeared in 2 games this season with the Vipers as an AP and 5 BCHL games overall with Chilliwack and Salmon Arm as well.
Head Coach Mark Ferner is very happy to have Stephenson in the fold for next season. “Carter is a very high level defenceman that we feel will be able to step in right away and contribute next season. He was very highly recruited by many programs and we are extremely pleased and excited that he chose Vernon and the Vipers.”
