GoPro Goal – #19 Hunter Zandee
Posted by HockeyTube on Jan 10th, 2016
Vernon Viper forward Hunter Zandee scores a shorthanded breakaway goal against the Penticton Vees during a BCHL game at Kal Tire Place (1-8-16). The 19-year-old Kelowna native brought the 2500 plus fans to their feet when he opened the scoring against the #1 ranked Junior A hockey team in Canada. Zandee was able to beat Anthony Brodeur (son of former NHL’er Martin Brodeur) with a wicked wrist shot top shelf. However the celebration was short lived as the Vees came back to score the tying goal seconds later and ultimately won the game.
