I had an offer to catch a ride to the Vipers game tonight but with no playoffs, the last game of the season and a mean nothing game, I decided to stay home and watch the Vipers game on FloHockey.
What a difference between last nights game and tonight’s game. Both teams were pretty even in a very entertaining hockey game. The Vipers come to play and looked better and played much better then Fridays loss to the Smoke Eaters. Nice to see the team end the season with a win. The Vipers will miss the playoffs for a second straight season and eighth time in franchise history.
A very disappointing season. The hockey was much better than last season, most of the games were close, entertaining and fun to watch. Matt Cooke deserves another shot after only one season. With already ten players signed for the 2026-27 season and a possible fifteen players from this season eligible to return, let’s see how the Vipers look next season.
With no playoffs it’s going to be a long off season.
The vipers came out to play to night for their final game of the season our senior vets wanted to finish their final jr yr on a winning note . The season didn’t go as they would of liked hopefully the returning players take note of the season and improve their performance in the fall
