Saskiw is in his first season with the KIJHL Merritt Centennials. In 25 games, Saskiw went 13-9-2 with a 3.33 GAA Saskiw and the Centennials lost in 6 games to the Revelstoke Grizzlies in the 1st round of the playoffs.
Saskiw attended the Vernon Vipers training camp in 2004 was released after playing in 1 preseason game, attended the Vernon Vipers training camp in 2025 was released after playing in 1 preseason game.
